Roll Over! Roll Over!
This morning I gave Dashiell some tummy time directly after changing his first diaper of the day, because he was really active and cheerful. He's usually really happy first thing in the morning, especially when he gets peeled out of that diaper he's been marinating in during the night.
During his tummy time I decided to film him with the digital video camera for a while, because he'd rolled from his tummy onto his back this weekend as well, which I'd missed but which PreZ had seen (you turn your back for a little bit, and they get up to all kinds of things). Of course as luck would have it, I film him for quite a while and nothing happens, so I turn off the camera.
10 seconds later he rolls onto his back. Of course!
He's doing really well with his tummy time though, he lifts his head up really far and he's tolerating it for longer stretches of time too. It used to be that he'd get really pissed off in no time at all.
Hopefully I'll be able to catch a roll on film at some point though.
